This month’s meeting of Texas Democratic Women of Gregg County will be a week earlier than usual, as our regular date falls during early voting. Many members are election workers and will be working too late to attend. So the meeting has been moved up a week to Tuesday, October 12, at our usual time and place. Everyone is invited—members, bring along a friend or two.

Where: Longview Community Center, 500 E Whaley, Longview
Stop in and pick up yard signs for the Bill White governor campaign. Our meeting is the same night as Neighborhood Watch meetings throughout Longview, so get some signs, bumper stickers and general Democratic party info to share with your neighbors. It’s critical we turn out the Democratic vote in this election if we’re going to have a chance of winning back some of the statewide offices, so here’s a chance to help with that. Make a quick stop at TDWGC, then go on to your Neighborhood Watch meeting with some materials to energize your Democratic voters.
